Product Description

3M Scotch-Weld EPX Pneumatic Applicators are used to dispense two-component 3M Scotch-Weld Structural Adhesives packaged in Duo-Pak (DP) cartridges. There are a variety of pneumatic applicators available to match the needs of your manufacturing process.

From the Manufacturer

Large Capacity, Precise ApplicationThe EPX, or Exact Proportion miXer makes dispensing the adhesive clean, easy, and with minimal waste. Air pressure drives the dual pistons directly into the Duo-Pak cartridge, applying equal pressure and feeding the adhesive into the mixing nozzle (sold separately). The mixing nozzle mixes the two-part compound and dispenses activated adhesive. 3M manufactures this applicator with durable plastic and metal construction to incorporate a flow-control valve that regulates airflow into the applicator itself. The ergonomically designed pistol grip provides comfortable handling and precise control.

The 3M Scotch-Weld Pneumatic Applicator ensures accurate measurement, thorough mixing, and precise placement of material. Other advantages include improved mixing ratio accuracy with no hand mixing required and efficient use of adhesive. Industries where EPX Pneumatic Applicators are used include general industrial, construction, sporting goods, solar energy, wind energy, composites, electronics, military, transportation and aerospace.

Advanced Adhesive Systems from 3MDesigners and engineers increasingly rely on adhesives for improved end-use performance, greater design flexibility and more efficiency in putting their products together. Backed with more than 50 years of experience in industrial adhesives, 3M continues to meet those needs. Two-part room-temperature-curing epoxy, urethane and acrylic adhesives formulated and packaged in Duo-Pak cartridges meet a wide variety of construction, MRO, and industrial applications. In addition to advanced formulations for reliability and versatility, application systems like the EPX Pneumatic Applicator are provided to facilitate production service to help you in your selection of the right adhesive for the job.
